You cannot use a proxy when connecting to the freesites.  This will cause you to be put on hold or to go red. Using a proxy is where data from your computer is sent to a "proxy server" before being sent to the server you are connecting to. It is essentially a way to hide your IP address or computer to the server (website). A proxy will change a persons IP address. This enables people to sign up on the sites multiple times (can only sign up on each site once) and then causing that person to go red. Some internet service providers (ISP) use proxy servers with their services (including, but not limited to, AOL, Earthlink, Netscape, DirectPC, and some DSL providers).  You are urged not to use these ISPs when you are completing offers. In most cases you are put on hold immediately for using AOL internet.

Run test for a Proxy here.

*  Click on the Privacy Tab at the top.

*  Then slide the bar to the left all the way to the bottom.

*  Under the Pop-up Blocker, make sure that it is unchecked.

*  Click Apply at the bottom it it is there, and then click ok.

Your IE browser is now good to go.

*  Click on Tools at the top of the page and go to Options

*  Then click on Content.  Make sure that the Block Pop-up Windows is unchecked.

*  Next, click on Privacy and make sure that the Accept Cookies from the sites is checked.

*  Now, if there is an apply button at the bottom, click on it.  Otherwise, click ok.

Your Firefox Internet browser is ready and you are good to go.  If you do not have Firefox but would like to get it, you can download it for free here.
